1. What this extension does

Text Rescuer saves text that you type in web forms and text areas so you can restore it if the page closes or crashes. That is its only purpose.

2. Data we store (on your device only)

• Typed text: The extension stores the text you type in input/textarea fields locally on your device (chrome.storage.local). This data is never sent to our servers or any third party.
• Settings: Your preferences (e.g. license key, checkout URL) are stored locally.
• Install date: Used only to calculate the free trial period.

3. What we never collect or save

We do not save passwords, credit card or payment fields, or any sensitive fields. Such fields are explicitly excluded by the extension.

4. Data sent over the network

The only optional request sent to a server is when you enter a Pro license key: the extension sends the key and a device identifier to our license verification API (HTTPS). The API returns only whether the license is valid. No typed content or personal data is ever sent.

5. No selling or misuse of data

We do not sell, rent, or transfer your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising, creditworthiness, or any purpose unrelated to the extension's single purpose (saving and restoring your typed text).
